southern cross argentina

We are a waterfowl hunting outfitter based in Lincoln, Buenos Aires, Argentina, proudly founded and run by our team.
Our facilities and friendly staff will make you feel like you’re in a duck hunting paradise. Every day, our 4×4 trucks will take you to well-camouflaged blinds in the areas where the ducks are.
We offer morning and afternoon hunts, with plenty of time to relax at our accommodations.

As soon as the guest arrives
Groups normally arrive at Ezeiza International Airport early in the morning, where a member of our staff meets them and drives them to the estancia in Lincoln. Once they arrive, we serve lunch and give a briefing to anyone who needs it before organizing the first afternoon hunt that same day.
Most guests hunt for four or five days—sometimes more—starting on the first afternoon and continuing throughout their stay. On the last day, after the morning hunt, we return to the lodge to pack up and get ready to head back to the airport, usually around 1 p.m.
This gives our guests plenty of time to board their flight home.

DAILY HUNTING SCHEDULE

Our hunting day starts early, with a wake-up call around 5:30 a.m. After a hearty breakfast made to order, hunters head out from the lodge in the dark. Drive times vary depending on water conditions and the best locations, ranging from 10 to 50 minutes.
Drive times vary depending on water conditions and the best locations, ranging from 10 to 50 minutes. Once we arrive, hunters settle into the blinds. We provide guns and shells and help everyone get ready just as the sky begins to lighten—usually 45 minutes to an hour before sunrise. Our blinds are set up for two or three hunters at a time, depending on demand. A bird boy usually assists each blind, acting as an extra set of eyes to spot incoming ducks during the hunt and serving hot and cold drinks once the hunt is over.
We return to the lodge by mid-morning to relax before lunch. After a short nap, around 3 p.m., everyone heads out for an afternoon hunt that ends at dusk. Then we enjoy an evening of camaraderie and an impressive dinner.
